PTA seniors squad wins tournament

The Polyvalente-Thomas Albert high school’s senior girls volleyball team took home the honours and the trophy of the John Caldwell School’s Golden Knights Invitational Girls Volleyball Tournament held on April 18 and 19. The PTA squad defeated the Nackawic team in the tournament’s championship game 25-22 and 25-21. In addition to PTA and Nackawic, the tournament welcomed the host team, Golden Knights, as well as teams from Upper Miramichi, Tobique Valley, Chipman, Hartland, Southern-Victoria and Stanley.
