What many hope was the last snowstorm of the season dumped approximately 60 cm of the white stuff over the county this past weekend. Snow that started falling late in the day on Wednesday, March 19 and ended on Saturday, March 22 was accompanied by winds reaching 69, 46 and 56 km/hour on March 21, 22 and 23 respectively. According to statistics provided by the St. Leonard Weather Station, approximately 460.4 cm of snow have been registered, from October until March 24, as well as 248.6 cm of rain. The highest wind gusts were recorded on Jan. 10 at 76 km/hour.
