Summer Reading Programs!! The slogan for 2008 is "See What's Bubbling @ Your Library"! We will be learning about science through books, games, crafts, experiments and other fun activities. This Provincial program is free! It's not too late to register! Our summer student, Patricia Smith, will hold programs for the following age groups on the days/dates listed. Preschooler's: Fridays at 10:30 a.m.; School-age: Thursdays at 1 p.m.

Babies in the Library: Tammie will hold a program based on the science summer reading club theme on Wednesdays at 2:30 p.m. (July 23 and Aug. 6 and 20). July 23 we will learn about sounds as we play drums on some pie plates! On Aug. 6 we will experiment with bubbles and balloons. On Aug. 20 we will end the summer by making plaster castings of baby's hand/foot (parent's choice) OR do prints with paint.

Bedtime Stories: Join Tricia for some bedtime stories on Thursday, Aug. 7 at 6:30 p.m. Milk and cookies will be served and don't forget to wear your pj's!

Summer hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.; Thursday: noon to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday: Closed.
