Perth-Andover library update

Reading Rainbow: All preschoolers interested in a weekly program that includes stories, songs, games, crafts and laughs are invited to the library on Fridays at 10:30 in the morning! Remember, an adult must accompany children. On May 2 we will be discussing plants. We will read the story One Bean by Anne Rockwell and From Acorn to Oak Tree by Jan Kottke. We will be planting radish seeds for our craft and science experiment. Our Math is 1 4=5, we will see that letters put together make words - our first word will be at.
Babies in the Library: For the month of May we will meet from 2:30 to 3 p.m. on Wednesdays to do rhyming, talking, finger plays, and stories. This program runs for four sessions, but I would be interested in having a bi-weekly session during the school year. Our first meeting will be on Wednesday, May 7.
Art Classes with Veronica Steeves: we will be hosting an 8 week art class series about the dynamics of drawing for people of all ages and abilities on Thursday evenings from 6-8 p.m. beginning June 5. The cost is $4 per person per class. Registration is necessary and a supply list will be provided. Supply kits can also be provided at a cost if requested. Please contact the library at 273-2843 to register.
