Presented with Fraternalist of the Year award Romeo LaFrance, left, of Grand Falls was named the 2008 Fraternalist of the Year by the Order of United Commercial Travelers of America. LaFrance, a founding member of the Grand Falls UCT Club Council 854, was honoured for his many years of dedication to the UCT and to his numerous charitable community causes. Unable to travel to Colorado last month to receive his award, Atlantic Grand Counselor Jimmy Doucet, who attended the July convention, presented LaFrance with his award on Aug. 12 during a ceremony held at the Grand Falls Town Hall.
