Dufour, Ouellette Junior Champions

Stephane Dufour and Jeremie Ouellette are the 2008 Grand Falls Golf Club's Junior Champions following the annual tournament held on Aug. 11. The event attracted 19 participants between 11 and 16 years of age, from Edmundston, Plaster Rock and Grand Falls. Each participant went home with a prize. Left to right: Stephane Dufour, 14, Josee Michaud, coordinator of the junior golf program and Jeremie Ouellette, 15. Dufour and Ouellette each received a golf bag, sponsored by Roger Golf Shop. Michaud stated she was very impressed by the young talented golfers. She is looking forward to having a greater number of participants in next year's championship as well as more prizes.
