Valley schools win conservation challenge

Bath Middle School and École Marie-Immaculée in Grand Falls bother won $1,000 in the competition.

"As part of NB Power's commitment to the environment, we are continually looking for ways tominimize our environmental footprint," said David Hay, NB Power president and CEO. "One ofthe ways we are doing this is through the development of educational conservation programs which will enable us to share information on conservation with New Brunswickers."

The judging criteria was based participation, creativity

content and use of the prize money
