I won!
I am the one who usually the one who doesn’t win anything; I never hear back from contest entries and I always pick last at gift swaps. Hence, I get the not-so-good deals. But my luck is changing… and it all starts with an Indiana Jones prize pack (insert sarcastic woohoo here).
First off, I guess I should admit that I haven’t seen any of the Indiana Jones movies, old or new. I was too young to appreciate the older productions, and I didn’t make an effort to see the new release because “The Beef” stars in this version, and I am not a fan of his.
Of course all that didn’t stop my boredom from stepping in and entering every contest possible on the tribute website. I was personally hoping for the Sex and the City spa getaway – it just didn’t happen.
The excitement of a package addressed to me soon faded when I saw Indiana Jones. I am now the proud owner of a book and “action figures” that look like Kinder Surprise toys. I guess on the plus side, I’ll learn how to crack a whip and get out of quicksand. I laugh about this now, but maybe someday some of my useless knowledge might be useful.
